Massimiliano Canneto Violin
He graduated with highest honors in the Conservatory of Vibo Valentia under the guidance of R.Donà, studied with internationally renowned musicians such as G. Monch, D. Nordio,I. Volochine, Giuranna B., and P. O. Semcuk Vernikov. Participates and is awarded in several national and international competitions (1 st Prize AMA Calabria Award, 1 st Prize "V. Scaramuzza" of Crotone, a prize "Spadafora V." Venetico, 2 thAward "Papini G." di Camaiore, award "City of Boiano" and others).​
He attended courses at High Specialization with P. Vernikov the Accademia Santa Cecilia in Portogruaro, with D. Nordio at the
Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, with K. Bogino at The Piano Academy "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola, with B.
Giuranna Foundation at the Walter Stauffer Academy in Cremona and Mozart Academy in Bologna.
Since 2002, he is part since the birth of the Solisti di Pavia, string ensemble created and directed by the cellist E. Dindo. Since 2004 he takes part in the SIXE Ensemble, chamber music ranging from trio to up to chamber quintet, with whom he performed as chamber musician and soloist in Italy and abroad. In 2008 he founded the Mirus Quartet, sponsored by the Federation Cemat and the Festival Autunno Musicale di Como, with whom he madehis debut at the Bologna Festival 2009 (.. "Ensemble able to stand out because of his maturity.. ," Corriere della Sera). In 2009 was invited by M. Brunello and Kuss Quartet to participate in the International Festival of Quartet in Reggio Emilia and then to follow courses at the Hochschule fur Musik in Basel with W. Levin.
Since 2009 he is invited to join in the Orchestra Mozart of Claudio Abbado and later joined the movement of Human Rights Orchestra. In 2010, he is selected by Rec & Play to participate in the program New Careers organized by the CIDIM.
He collaborated with composers C. Galante, D. Conti (to him was dedicated the Duo for 2 violins "In the time of waiting" and to the Mirus Quartet the Quartet No.3), Crivelli and C. Sir.Peter Maxwell Davies.
Both as a chamber musician and as a soloist he toured in prestigious concert halls in Italy (Teatro Dal Verme and Auditorium in Milan, Parco della Musica and the Campidoglio in Rome, Festival Stresa, Bologna Festival, Teatro Comunale in Ferrara, Festival Como Autumn Music Festival, Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte Montepulciano, Teatro Mercadante in Napoli, Teatro Comunale Aquila, Mozart Room and Auditorium of the Accademia Filarmonica Manzoni in Bologna, Ravenna Festival, Teatro Fraschini Pavia, Savio Theatre in Messina, Pontino Festival ...) and abroad (Hall Rachmaninov of the Conservatory in Moscow, KKL Lucerne, Glinka Hall St. Petersburg, Lithuanian National Philharmonic Hall in Vilnius, Ibn Zeydoun Algiers Hall, Concert Hall of the Bratislava Radio 3, Festival of Pesinok Suchon, SolistenKonzerte Constance Theatre Darwish of Alexandria in Egypt, Cyprus, Stockholm, Madrid, Valletta Malta, Germany ...).
He has recorded for Amadeus, Harmonia Mundi, Radio 3 Slovakia and the Cinema.
He graduated in DAMS Music at the Faculty of Humanities in the University of Bologna, now is violin professor in Cagliari Conservatoire.
